For several years Angela Callaway worked in the education department of the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth. During that time she juggled everything from serving as a docent, organizing children's programs, to coordinating traveling speakers. After completing her degree at the University of North Texas she spent many years as a junior high science teacher. Angela is also founder and director of a local girl's leadership organization. In the year 2000 Angela started the greatest journey of all, being a mom. Today she continues to devote herself to being a wife and mother, while carving out time to focus on causes that are laid upon her heart. When her friend, Faith Lautzenheiser was diagnosed with cancer, Angela began participating in events focused on childhood cancer awareness. Angela's unshakable belief that better treatment and research should be available for childhood cancer is what drives her passion for the work of Fabulous Faith's Foundation.
Ruth Lautzenheiser is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Fabulous Faith's Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to end the suffering caused by pediatric cancer by supporting cancer research, affected families, providers, and facilities, while promoting awareness and hope that a cure will be found. The Foundation became a reality after the passing of her 10 year old daughter, Faith Rose, to complications of Cancer in June of 2013. Ruth and her family, through the Foundation, are determined to assist others that are, and will experience the same journey they did. The ultimate goal is to cure Childhood Cancer so that no child or family has to bear the burden and pain of this terrible disease. Ruth is married and also has two other children Drew, 17 and Derek 15. These two keep her very busy with their various activities including basketball, school, and church. While her passion is her current stay at home mom position, she has held several professional positions in the past, including positions with American Airlines and The General Services Administration. She has also worked side by side with her husband, Ken, in several family businesses that required her to travel to places as far away as Sydney, Australia. Ruth received her degree in Finance from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, TX. In her spare time, Ruth loves to cook, travel, and volunteer at charitable organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House. However, her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family.

I'm a devoted wife and the mother of two high school boys. I'm a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University and have worked in the aviation industry for 28 years. My last job was with Bell Helicopter as a Flight Test Engineer for the past 20 years. During those 20 years I was very involved in volunteering. I created the website for Bell's humanity fund drive which raises thousands of dollars each year to the charity of your choice along with the company matching funds donated for the entire company. I have held numerous positions throughout my career like regional leader of my facility for March of Dimes, team captain of Special Olympics and Sky Ball (which supports Wounded Warrior Project). I have volunteered many hours at the Texas Food Bank, Green Oaks School (school for down syndrome) and Catholic Charities. I have spear headed the school concession stand and have volunteered countless hours each year at the school in many positions. When Angela Callaway asked if my family would support her at the Fabulous Faith 5K, I could not say no to such a great cause. We had a blast and I look forward to many more years of volunteering and seeing this foundation grow.
Nan began volunteering as a young teen at her church, teaching and working with preschoolers and primary school children. In her late teens, she served as a counselor at a camp for inner city youth in the New York City area. Following that, she was an assistant at a day-camp for handicapped teens. Her commitment to helping young people continued as she earned her bachelors degree in education and taught junior high for several years. Subsequently she earned a masters degree in education at TCU, specializing in corporate leadership development and training. She employed those skills for a period of 25 years at three major corporations in the Metroplex. Because of her continuing commitment to youth and their well-being, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for several years. Nan was pleased to be asked to serve on the Board of Fabulous Faith's Foundation because she is committed to children and families affected by pediatric cancer.
Special Recognition to Ken Lautzenheiser. Although he's not a board member we would like to recognize Ken Lautzenheiser, Faith's Daddy.
